I’m really enjoying the 3.2. Its sublime. Ive almost only played digital since it arrived and thats quite out of character for me. Lampi man was over last night. He was gobsmacked. I think he’ll order one.

Hello, I’ve recently experienced my first ever abbas dac which is the 2.3se NON-Signature and it truly brought me to my knees. Amazing Dac indeed. I would like to know more info about your DAC line-up,

Hi, Abbas!
Thank you very much for giving us such fine devices. It certainly makes life more enjoyable and meaningful.
You have made it possible for people on a limited budget like me to hear the angels sing. It may not be in its fullest glory, but nonetheless, we give thanks. From Jamaica with love!Chen

Hi Abbas

You are a very very gifted designer.
I am listening to Radio France Musique through your DAC 2.4se— (off my Apple laptop via Gustard U18) and the broadcast sounds open and beautiful, just as you indicated, with a sense of sparkling reality and the spirit of players making music coming through. I am so delighted. Curiously, the BBC classical radio 3 stream sounds dull by comparison. We’ll, I ordered your superb DAC for classical radio from Paris and CD play.
I just connected an old Meridian 208 CD drive and on a live Beethoven PC No. 3 (Harnoncourt and Pierre-Laurent Aimard) and also the fabulous Miklos Spanyi CPE B you recommended (thank you!!) the sound is also so crystal clear and wide open soundstage.
That’s all first-hour cold out of the box! I am looking forward to hearing your new RIAA stage.
With warm regards from London ……..

…..Anyway, it’s 1 AM here in the UK and I am 100% awake. I can’t sleep. What an unbelievable DAC. Why in the hell did I not find you earlier. Straight out of the box, it just sounds marvelous. Even my wife, who is far from anything remotely audio, could tell exactly the differences. We both sat together and listened to as many songs we both love, lost our sleep and were thoroughly in awe of what we heard today. Listening to music will never be the same again. Thank you so much. Every kind of music that I listened to was just a revelation. Tears rolled down, I am missing my late beloved Father as he always longed for natural sound. He was the original true music lover in our family and I just happened to pick his hobby and pursued it to the next level but he could enjoy music even on his laptop speakers. But I can imagine exactly what his reaction would have been today. It has been a truly amazing journey, never ever in my life have I had such an intense emotional feeling with audio equipment. Trust me. Both me & wife can’t thank you enough for this.
Best Regards

Hello Abbas,
6
I received my 3.2sig yesterday afternoon and have been burning it in and listening to it since. It is the most frighteningly realistic DAC I’ve ever heard, the first thing I heard with it was Beethoven’s 9th Symphony and the entrance of the baritone in the finale sounded so full and powerful it almost scared me. It is capable of being so lively and unrelenting, but at the same time when required it is extremely tender and sweet. I am extremely satisfied with it and I cannot wait to see how it develops as it burns in. I know the black gate caps will eventually become a lot more mellow, and then after that will be more normal sounding. Very much looking forward to hearing that!

Hi Abbas
I want to thank you for making the RIAA phono stage. It is beautifully built and music is very considerably more wide open, clear, natural sounding, and lit up, as if a fog has been removed. It is hard to imagine a better RIAA stage.

Hello Abbas,
As a side note I’ve had some more time with the DAC. Your tuning using GE 6080s and Brimar smoked glass 6X4 was perfectly balanced.
However, as the DAC developed and opened up, more and more details began to emerge — so much so that the sound became constricted.I then went through several dozen different combinations using all sorts of output tubes, rectifiers, cables etc. I really struggled to reclaim your
initial equanimity. However, I’ve finally managed to get an even and flowing sound after much tinkering with the following pairing; GEC 6080WA and Tungsol 6X4WA.
But even that wasn’t anywhere near complete without the addition of an Audio Magic fuse — this made the most difference. These fuses are filled with beeswax and are marvellous sounding after they break in (approx. 200 hrs) The Ultimate Premier SHD are indeed expensive (US$240) but for me worth every kopek. Perhaps you can get someone to custom make these for you? You would make a fortuneRegards,Nenad.
